Today at noon I am heading to Canada with five of my sweet and dear friends to spend the next couple of days together for the Beth Moore conference in Vancouver B.C. I keep joking that this is the last hurrah before Liliana comes but I am feeling more and more like it is everyday as my belly expands and the reality of having baby #2 becomes even more real. Here's to yummy food, good fellowship, awesome worship, matching T-shirts, giggles, being real, staying up too late, and great teaching!!
"But he said to me. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." ~2 Corinthians 12:9

Lukaluka lay
Tal has this creative habit of making up her own words and songs. Sometimes they have parts of songs or words she already knows or sometimes it is all from her imagination. Here was what she was singing this morning:
"I laugh, I giggle, I lukaluka lay"
"Today, is a good day..."
"I laugh, I giggle, I lukaluka lay"
"Today, is a good day..."

J'aimerais......
I wish that it was spring and sunny outside.
I wish I would go to bed early.
I wish I liked more sophisticated food than pizza and burritos.
I wish I was better at keeping in touch with friends.
I wish the laundry would fold itself.
I wish I could be a more creative menu planner.
I wish I would be content with my body.
I wish that our neighbors would sell their motorcycle.
I wish that there was a cure for cancer.
I wish I could make pie crust like my mother-in-law.
I wish I was more adventurous.
I wish I would be more organized.
I wish I could sleep on my tummy.

Mystery Shopping Tour
Tomorrow morning I will board a chartered bus with about 47 other women from my church to spend the day shopping. I don't know where we are going but I am anticipating a fun and tiring day. I am looking forward to the freedom that comes with shopping without a toddler. While I love spending time with Tal, it does get to be a little much trying on clothes with a little person telling everyone in the dressing room what color mommy's underwear is. Here's to watching my budget, relaxing, fellowship and finding a treasure!!
