Our daily naptime routine consists of brushing teeth, going potty, climbing into bed, reading stories, praying together and singing a song. Lately (past week or more), Tal has requested the "Jesus Cup Song" for both nap and bedtime. She closes her eyes and sings along with me. I love that she loves to sing to Jesus and that she is already learning how to worship Him with song. Not only is this one of my favorite praise songs, it is a reminder to me of the sufficiency of Christ.
You are My All in All
By: Dennis Jernigan
You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
Rising up again I bless Your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I am dry You fill my coup
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy, is Your name

Did I tell you that I started singing this to Sarah and it has FINALLY been allowed to take the place of Sandra Boynton's Personal Penguin Song? (She would literally interrupt "God is so good" or "Jesus loves me" with a request for "Personal Penguin"!) So yay! Thanks for the reminder of this... And I love the Thomas Moore quote... I need to print that out and post it somewhere prominent in the house!
